Gravel Biking
As well as our famous mountain bike trails, Lochaber is home to an extensive network of forest roads which connect the nearby towns and villages - discover these routes with a day of guided gravel biking.
Gravel biking has really taken off in Scotland over the past five years. It is different from mountain biking since mountain biking tends to focus on riding technically challenging purpose-built trails, whereas gravel biking tends to involve riding less technical off-road routes (like forest roads) for longer distances. A guided gravel ride can be used to link up the local towns (and their cafes!) into a day’s tour of our landscape, in the quiet of the woods and away from traffic and busy roads.
